Update

Due to various circumstances I did not get to see Three, but hope to get the DVD. I have finished "Saint" and will only say for now that I highly recommend it. There are some very funny surprises in this one. However, I have asked my son to do a guest review. I would also invite those who visit these pages to provide guest posts here. I would be very interested in any first person stories having to do with your having worked with or worshipped under Randy.

One other thing. You may or may not have noted that I have various other blogs that review other Christian authors. You can see these listed on the right column. Randy Alcorn is an amazing author and his books are timeless. I can't recommend him highly enough. Tim LaHaye is an excellent non-fiction writer. His books on marriage and sex are at the top of the best ever written. His fiction, including "Left Behind" is good, not great, but groundbreaking. The ground he broke has been improved upon by an author I'm reading now, Joel Rosenberg. See a review for his "The Last Jihad" here. There are four books in this series, and if you liked "Left Behind" or if you like the TV show "24," you will love Rosenberg. There is also a blog on Christian Classics shown over on the right. This blog takes a look at many of the top writers of the 20th Century. It also lists the favorites of many of the leaders in the Christian community.
